Growing up near Puget Sound, with a dad and older brother who fished, I can't even recall the first time I held a rod. I have fished northern California waters now for salmon and trout for over 30 years. Since starting Get The Net in 2020, I've found I love being a fishing guide and introducing folks to the sport. My "regular" job for 32.5 years was being the "Tom" of the "Pat, Tom and Cody Show" on New Country 105.1 KNCI. But I retired in May, '25 and my gig now, I'm happy to say, is out on the water.

I rarely get to fish with my brother Dan because he lives in Oregon, so it was great to get him out on Folsom and get these 3 nice rainbow on 3/6/26. Especially since he's basically the guy who, along with our dad, taught me how to fish!
